Will the wonders never cease? Aged Tassie riesling from a Five Star Halliday Rated Winery at this price? C’mon! And it’s good, damn good! There’s a touch of richness underneath the bracing acidity. And plenty of intensity, starting with the lifted foral nose on through the citrus mid-palate, and finishing with some herbaceous texture on the finish. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be a grievous understatement. This is great rizza through and through.
