From the heart of riesling country, the Clare Valley, comes a superb young wine, from a couple of lofty vineyards and a producer that we love. It’s not the super-dry, puckering, citrus taste bud assault, rather more approachable and friendly. There is a heap of grapefruit pith, meye lemon flesh and white peach, with fresh chopped herbs. It’s fine and clean, with just enough sweetness to do its job with style. Fire up the wok, add some spice and see this wine sing next to a spicy and fragrant southeast Asian dish.
