WINERY INFORMATION Since its establishment in 1987 Crossroads Winery has been producing an outstanding range of elegant and flavoursome wines showing great finesse The winemaking team led by Miles Dinneen specialises in the production of small batches of premium wines unique to the Hawke rsquo sBay region Miles joined the company in 2004 The company rsquo s winery and cellar door are located in Fernhill in Hawke rsquo s Bay New Zealand TASTING NOTES The grapes used to manufacture Winemakers Cabernet Merlot were handpicked and destemmed The cap was then gently plunged The wine was aged in French oak barriques for 14 months to produce a deep red coloured drink with bright purple hues The fragrant nose gives off mesmerising scents which intermix with rich flavours of plums blackcurrants and ripe blackberries on the supple palate Smooth tannins integrate with this plush palate to culminate in a long finish This delightful red blend tastes amazing with grass fed lamb beefy casseroles and steaks nbsp
