WINERY INFORMATION Crossroads Winery produces an award winning range of premium full flavoured wines using fruit sourced from their own vineyards spread throughout Hawke rsquo s Bay The company owns a total of 6 vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels Mangatahi Valley and Fernhill regions These flourshing sites are managed by Vineyard Manager Bryon Strachan TASTING NOTES The grapes used to produce this beautiful Winemakers Cabernet Franc were picked and then destemmed in open fermenters Post fermentation hand plunging was carried out The juice obtained through this process was drained and pressed off skins before storing in French oak barriques This led to the creation of a deep red hued wine accompanied by a ruby haze The attractive bouquet emanates lifted aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant with warm and spicy oak notes following close behind Supported and balanced by silky tannins the full flavoured palate ends the wine in a long and elegant finale Drink this dazzling red wine with rosemary rubbed lamb shanks served alongside kumara mash and silver beet to enhance your mealtime experience nbsp
