This producer is an all-round King Valley favourite of ours. The wine is a wonderfully medium bodied drop with complexity from 17 months in a mix of American and French oak. It has all of the oak-derived structure, vanilla and chocolate you could want, whilst the cabernet sauvignon brings bramble, backcurrants and hints of thyme and bay leaf. Pop the oven on and get that lamb roasting cause this wine is sure gonna need something to pair with.
