It is quite a joyful moment when we get our hands on 15 year old cabernet, from a top producer in the leading cabernet region of Coonawarra. We’ve sold a few of their wines recently and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Their wines are made to last, with classic caberne structure and grace. Vibrant blackcurrant and oak have come together, tannins mellowed and earthy, secondary elements emerged. Unless you have a cellar full of aged wine, this is possibly the best chance to pick up some absolutely stunning aged cab.
