It gets overshadowed by its spotlight-hoarding mate shiraz, but Barossa cabernet is pretty damn good. This one is sourced from a vineyard planted over red clay and limestone. As you’d expect from a Barossa red, it’s quite ripe and rich, with an intricate palate of plum, spice, tobacco leaf and cdar. The tannins are chalky and the finish is long. We’re certainly all in on this low-pro cab sav.
