If it weren’t for the cabernet ‘grip’, the textbook tannin that squares things away so nicely, it would simply slide down the hatch. It’s just too easy breezy and delicious. The lifted red berry aroma is a gentle prelude to dark berries that roll in waves, washing over thepalate with some cheeky vanilla sweetness lolling around too. Bold with just subtle oak on the finish, this is a ‘sit down’ kinda wine. No shaking the snake hips on the dance floor but rather dim the lights, recline and settle in.
