And with this classic blend from the Rhône Valley, marsanne and viognier meet in their spiritual Aussie home, the Vale. Their thicker skins are perfect for warmer climates, and early picking ensures good freshness and acidity while still allowing intense aromatics. Lots of florals and stonefruit from the viognier and a nutty, citrus kick from the marsanne. There’s also a little pinot gris in there, which sharpens the fruit profile with some crisp apple and pear. It’s a beautiful wine that dances across the palate.
