Tasmania is getting loads of long-overdue attention lately as Australia’s most exciting cool-climate region. There aren’t many spots on th mainland that can rival Tassie for elegance, brightness and drive in their wines. This gris is a superb example. Wonderfully fresh acid, combined with a fleshy, textural palate makes for an unholy good combo here. Intense and stunningly flavoursome, there’s all sorts of orchard flavours, sweet spice and honeyed florals to sink your teeth into.
