WINERY INFORMATION Talijancich Wines is a reputed winery located on Hyem Road Herne Hill in the heart of the Swan Valley region It was established by Jim Talijancich in the year 1932 and is internationally acclaimed for producing a premium range of fortified wines It is currently owned and managd by third-generation winemakers James and his wife Hilda after they purchased the winery and vineyard in 1998 nbsp TASTING NOTES The fruits used to craft the Talijancich Graciano Grenache Shiraz were harvested separately and blended prior to maturation in French oak barrels to retain intense fruit flavours and textures It is a blend of 25 Grenache and 5 Shiraz grapes with 70 Graciano grapes It is dark red-purple in colour The attractive and perfumed bouquet intermixes with wild berry and earthy undertones on the palate to culminate in a rich soft and captivating finish This wonderful red wine can be cellared for 10 years from vintage Pair this unique wine blend with slow-roasted barbequed pork grilled lamb and smoked seitan steaks to discover its full flavour potential nbsp
