WINERY INFORMATION Located in Gladstone in the heart of Wairarapa Borthwick Estate is a family owned wine estate currently managed by accomplished winemaker Paddy Borthwick Recognized as a reputed viticulturist as well Paddy firmly believes that Place People Passion and Philosophy are key aspets of winemaking that help in the production of the finest range of flavoursome wines Paddy and his father Robin laid down the foundation of the family vineyard and winery in the year 1996 nbsp TASTING NOTES Right Hand Pinot Noir displays a ruby-red colour with light purple hues along the edges The luxurious bouquet exhibits juicy aromas of maraschino cherries plums cranberries and cedar while the rich and soft palate is rife with flavours of dark cherries cloves and wild herbs Coupled with bright fruit characters French oak notes and finely-grained fruit tannins the wine ends in a delicate and persistent finale This vibrant red wine tastes great with game meats salmon and beef bourguignon nbsp
