WINERY INFORMATION Located in the renowned Barossa Valley wine region Grant Burge Wines was founded by Grant Burge and his wife Helen in the year 1988 A fifth generation winemaker Burge believes that great wines are born in vineyards and that vineyards truly are the cradle of wine quality TATING NOTES The fruits used to craft gb 51 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz were crushed destemmed fermented in stainless steel tanks for seven days and matured in French and American oak hogsheads for a year This full bodied wine features a deep red colour lined by purple hues The fragrant nose exudes pleasing aromas of red berries and blackcurrants with hints of spice and slight oakiness The lush palate is rife with mouth filling fruit which is balanced by soft and well integrated tannins to end in a smooth finale This delicious wine goes well with lamb preparations roast beef and chicken
