The classic Bordeaux-inspired blend from one of Coonawarra’s top producers - that’s what we like to hear! This wine is from old vine (planted in ‘75) cabernet with a generous portion of merlot. It’s a really lovely wine with depth on the palate and fruit that is mellowing s it ages, but not in a hurry. Expect all the hallmarks of Coonawarra cab - cassis and eucalypt, along with good tannin. The merlot plumps out the palate and makes it very easy to drink.
