Take one portion cabernet and one portion tempranillo, blend them together, and bottle them up. Seems like an odd combo (or at least one you don’t see very often), but France and Spain do share a border. Bordeaux, the home of cabernet, isn’t too far from that border, and of course tempranillo isgrown throughout Spain. So perhaps this blend was inevitable. It’s made from McLaren Vale fruit and hits the high notes of both grapes. Blackberry and cedar show off the cab side and allspice and leather show off the temp. All in all, quite tasty and better than the sum of its parts.
