WINERY INFORMATION CRFT Wines specializes in the production of single vineyard wines that are created using small parcels of grapes Expressing the extraordinary regional as well as varietal characteristics of the fruit the CRFT winery imports flavoursome and juicy grapes from lush vineyards in Edn Valley Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills TASTING NOTES Fruit for this elegant Gewurztraminer was sourced from K1 Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills region Subjected to cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks the grapes were kept on yeast lees to provide a rich mouthfeel to the wine With a yellow-brown colour this premium white wine presents a pungent and aromatic bouquet similar to the Alsatian style The vibrant and refreshing palate is full of rose petal musk and lychee flavours that are balanced by a lively acidity leading to a persistent finish with passionfruit notes This magnificent white wine varietal can be consumed either fresh and young or be cellared for about 7 years Suggested food matches with this elegant Gewurztraminer include Vietnamese cuisine pot stickers and dim sums nbsp
