WINERY INFORMATION Just Red is a boutique winery in Ballandean Queensland known for producing 100 authentic Granite Belt red wines since 1993 The Just Red vineyard is located in the west of the Great Dividing Range near the New South Wales border at a 900m altitude Thus the grapes produced b Just Red experience unique climatic conditions which give their wines a special character compared to the warm subtropical beaches of Queensland TASTING NOTES Just Red Nikki s Vineyard Syrah is a bold and complex Shiraz wine from the Granite Belt region The wine shows an enticing crimson red colour with vibrant hues The lush bouquet offers dominating aromas of berry fruit along with fragrances of currants and rose petal and a nbsp whiff of vanilla and faint cedar The medium bodied palate has some blonde tobacco supported by integrated oak with a dash of pepper and cinnamon All these spicy flavours culminate in a long and rich finish Presenting a sound structure and cool-climate characters this Queensland Shiraz can be enjoyed well with beef or venison dishes
