WINERY INFORMATION Robert Oatley Vineyards was named so in honour of its founder wine pioneer Bob Oatley Bob and his eldest son Sandy laid the foundation for the Robert Oatley Vineyards Cellar Door in 1858 on the banks of Eurunderee Creek in Mudgee The winemaking team at the Oatley wine company elieves in the philosophy of crafting wines that show varietal character clarity focus and integrity Their Chain of Fire range is an exceptional series of wines produced using grapes grown in nutrient-rich volcanic soils TASTING NOTES A light refreshing and bubbly white wine Chain of Fire Brut Cuvee by Robert Oatley Vineyards is a pale straw yellow hued wine surrounded by tinges of green The fragrant nose exhibits lifted aromas which seamlessly move on to the fresh and juicy palate brimming with fresh fruit flavours and lively bubbles Suggested food matches with this magnificent Brut Cuvee include freshly shucked oysters king prawns and smoked mackerel snow
