WINERY INFORMATION Tyrrell rsquo s Wines is a family owned wine company established by English immigrant Edward Tyrrell in 1858 It is currently managed by fourth-generation family member Bruce Tyrrell who believes in the simple philosophy of producing high quality wine that people love to drink nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft the Stomping Ground Chardonnay were matured in new as well as old French oak barriques and treated on yeast lees to enhance texture and complexity The base wine shows a bright golden colour with green hues along the edges The attractive and perfumed bouquet exudes rich citrus fruit aromas which intermix with subtle oak undertones on the palate to culminate in a balanced and captivating finale This enticing Chardonnay is a great match with food items like fruited curry chicken salad crab cakes and fresh mozzarella nbsp
