This fulsome little Cab Sauv comes from the cooler-influenced Clare Valley, which means it's not going to be a heavy, ballsy style. It shows typical Cab Sauv scents of blackcurrant and slight leafiness, with just a twist of diced herbs on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied with fleshy blak-fruited flavours, fine lacy tannins, and a lick of toasty oak before the dry, relatively soft finish. It will kick on for a few years, but why not crack a bottle open now with a rich, tomatoey lasagne? Red - Cabernet Sauvignon and Blends - Cabernet Sauvignon
