WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard This wine has its origins in both confidence and doubt It comes from two small blocks of the Crabtree Watervale Estate One I was always sure produced the best riesling on the property ndash classic riesling ground of red loam in limestone deep rooted dry-grown and outh facing Winemaking The handpicked fruit open fermented and basket pressed using traditional methods TASTING NOTES Colour Deep dark colour Aroma Lifted aromatics of tobacco leaf and spice Palate Blackcurrant fruit flavours and a finely textured tannin structure Food Pairing Beef short rib carrot jam preserved lemon
