WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard This wine has its origins in both confidence and doubt It comes from two small blocks of the Crabtree Watervale Estate One I was always sure produced the best riesling on the property ndash classic riesling ground of red loam in limestone deep rooted dry-grown and outh facing Winemaking The fruit was handpicked and carefully selected to ensure the best possible fruit condition and retain the fresh fruit flavour that Watervale is renowned The handpicked fruit was open fermented and basket pressed using traditional methods and matured in a blend of one year old and two year old French oak barriques for 14 months TASTING NOTES Aroma This shiraz shows lifted spicy aromatics with a bold structure Palate With lifted berry fruit flavours of mulberry and pepper Food Pairing Serve with beef ragu amd crispy skinned potatoes
