Vibrant aromas of cherry (Tempranillo), cola and earth (Monastrell), heritage rose (Grenache), violet and spice (Touriga Nacional) harmonise. A compote of red and dark summer berries is restrained and shaped by the savoury minerality and textured fruit tannins of this layered and complex medium-bodid wine. The Bio Project represents Shingleback’s ongoing commitment to undertaking native revegetation within our vineyards. The plants were carefully selected to provide benefits to the vineyard by specifically attracting beneficial insects and native birds, improve water quality and restore some of McLaren Vale’s biodiversity. To further support biodiversity in our beautiful region, Shingleback will be donating a portion of The Bio Project profit to the McLaren Vale Biodiversity Project Association. • 91 Points | James Halliday
