WINERY INFORMATION Talijancich Wines is a family owned winery managed by third-generation winemakers James and Hilda Talijancich It was founded by Jim Talijancich after he purchased the Swan Valley Vineyard in 1932 The Julian James range consists of innovative wines produced using the Solero winmaking technique a traditional technique that involves blending some of the finest vintages in order to create a fortified wine of great character aged for about 10 years nbsp TASTING NOTES Julian James White Liqueur is a blend of Verdelho and Tokay grapes with Pedro Ximenes grapes which were handpicked at the semi-raisin stage to retain intense fruit flavours and characters It features a pale straw colour with light copper hues This White Liqueur exudes unique aged nutty aromas with hints of raisin and light toffee evident in the backdrop The palate is fresh and juicy filled with flavours of honey caramel and raisin to end in a rich and smooth climax Crafted to relish upon release this white fortified wine tastes great with tapas foie grass and blue-veined cheese It also pairs marvellously with desserts like brown bread ice cream and chocolate brownies nbsp
