If you’re yet to sample the good stuff from this region, thisHalliday Five Star Red Producer is a great start. Made up mostly of trusty ‘fruit forward’ shiraz to flesh out the palate, its 35% mataro blend is what provides true personality; with a moreish dark chocolate undertone and savoury edge which is framed nicely thanks to a 12 month dip in seasoned oak. This will be the perfect accompaniment to any chargrilled red meat or root vegetable dish.
