WINERY INFORMATION Rise Vineyards can be best described as the realization of friends Matt and Grant rsquo s dream Having run two of the most reputed wineries in South Australia namely Ch acirc teau Tanunda and Kirrihill Wines they established Rise for a pure expression of their winemaking philsophy The result is premium award-winning wines that are excellent value for money TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft Rise Vineyards Shiraz were sourced from Ballingarry Estate owned by the Edward family The fruit was left on skins in open fermenters for two weeks followed by daily pump over and pressing Post-maturation in old French and American oak barrels this delightful Shiraz features a dark purple colour with magenta highlights along the edges Scintillating aromas of blueberry and black pepper flow from its perfumed nose The lush palate packs flavours of fresh dark berries and spice ending the wine in a lengthy and captivating finish Drink this beautiful red wine with spicy sausage stewed tomatoes or sharp Cheddar cheese to fully appreciate its rich flavours nbsp
