WINERY INFORMATION Independently owned company Rise Vineyards was established by friends Grant and Matt who ran two of Australia rsquo s top wineries Kirrihill Wines and Ch acirc teau Tanunda With several years of experience in the Australian wine industry Grant and Matt have been able to follo and express their philosophy with Rise Vineyards They craft the kind of wines that they and their loved ones would enjoy drinking TASTING NOTES The luscious grapes used to create Rise Vineyards Cabernet were left on skins in open fermenters followed by regular hand plunging and careful pressing The juice was then aged in French oak barrels This deep purple coloured Cabernet features bright magenta shades A whiff of the wine presents blackberry and blackcurrant aromas making way for the elegant palate full of dark berries and mint flavours These characters balanced by fine tannins culminating in a lengthy and textured finale Suitable for both vegetarians and vegans this mouth-watering Cab Sauv tastes excellent with mushroom pizza charred Gruyere burger and braised short ribs
