WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard Grapes were imported from the company rsquo s own Shiraz vineyard in McLaren Vale rsquo s Blewitt Springs region where the grapevines are planted on the North to South facing slope of the green and clean rolling hills As this vineyard is at an elevated position it exeriences gully ocean and hilly winds from all directions making it an adequate Shiraz growing spot The soil composition of this region consists of grey sands covering red loamy infused with nutrient rich clay Winemaking Before planting the vines the soils of the region were weathered and leached The grapevines are own rooted and average well beyond 30 years yielding fruit of intense colours aromas and flavours TASTING NOTES This elegant Reserve Shiraz presents vibrant hues of deep crimson and violet which are highlighted by red tints at the edges Blissful aromas of nutmeg cedar and anise flow from the bouquet while the textured and scrumptious palate depicts deep and juicy layers of raspberry and plum Delicate and velvety tannins help strengthen the weighted palate leading to an elegant and creamy finale giving a chocolaty aftertaste Try pairing this fruit driven wine with five spice lamb honey glazed chicken tandoori lamb chop and lobster dishes nbsp
