Pirramimma takes parcels from five individual shiraz blocks to create a shiraz with distinct varietal character and complex aromas of plum, black cherry, raspberry and coffee bean. The wine has seen minimal oak (only 15% of the blend went into barrel), allowing the fruit to remain bright and centre tage. There’s intensity to the palate, driven by hints of mulberry, cranberry, licorice, dark chocolate and pepper. This is one that’s ready to go right now (with 4+ years of age already), but could certainly be cellared for another decade.
