Pirramimma planted South Australia’s first petit verdot back in 1983. In honour of the 35th anniversary of this vineyard, they saw fit to bottle a limited edition wine. Powerful yet elegant, it opens with aromas of violets, musk, blueberries and toast. The intense palate delivers cherry, boysnberry and spicy red plum, complemented by notes of raspberry, Kalamata olive and roasted chestnut from the oak treatment. Crack a bottle now, but don’t be afraid to let it rest for well over a decade to develop even further.
