Here’s another crazy good deal from Pirramimma, this time on their all-Aussie blend of cabernet and shiraz. From three of their best vineyards, including Ironstone, and some vines planted back in the 1950s, this wine shows off the bold and ripe 2016 vintage. Winemaker Geoff Johnston describesthe wine as “a fine balance of the sweeter fine-tuned cassis of cabernet, with the plummy, blueberry and black cherry savoury notes of juicy shiraz. Couldn’t have said it better myself. If you’ve had the chance to enjoy any of the Pirramimma wine in the past, this is sure to impress.
