Mamre Brook Shiraz Museum

$45.00

Saltram wines have long been known for their richness, intensity and character and this wine is no exception. On the palate this wine offers generous, rich characters of fresh plums, chocolate and cloves, elegantly balanced with fine chalky tannins. Vintage Cellars Museum Release wines are hand-pcked by us based on their ability to improve with age. These wines are nearing their peak after being stored in our temperature controlled cellar for a number of years. The result is a selection of perfectly cellared wines, ready for you to enjoy as the winemaker intended. 'Full crimson-purple; a rich, full-bodied shiraz with an unexpected savoury/black olive background more commonly found in cabernet, the powdery tannins likewise; the black fruit is given an autocratic structure and mouthfeel boding well for the future. Matured for 18 months in new and used French and American oak. Drink by 2025' - 92 Points | Halliday Wine Companion.
