WINERY INFORMATION The rich and vibrant history of Kaesler goes back around 125 years to the year 1893 when the estate rsquo s vineyards were established The Kaesler family owned and managed these vineyards till 1986 Some of these old Shiraz grapevines exist to this day and form the backbone ofthe estate rsquo s intense wine range Winemaker Reid Bosward along with his partners bought the company in 1999 TASTING NOTES This single vineyard wine from Kaesler contains no added preservatives It presents a garnet rhubarb colour in a glass Attractive aromas of cherry fruit fuse with spicy notes and earthy scents to flaunt an attractive nose Aniseed characters complement these fragrances making way for a dry and soft palate A sip of the wine reveals strawberry and raspberry flavours The drink boasts of savoury tannins that are balanced by high glycerol It ends in a captivating finish This rich and intense wine will benefit from careful cellaring for a decade Enjoy it with Gouda cheese beef dishes or braised venison
