WINERY INFORMATION Situated on Barossa Valley Way in South Australia Kaesler Wines is a reputed wine company producing premium wines It was founded in the year 1893 by the Kaeslers who had moved to the Barossa Valley region in the 1840s The team believes that the native vegetation surrounding te vineyard increases wildlife activity and promotes the growth of beneficial organisms TASTING NOTES Kaesler Uvaggio is a fusion of 25 Shiraz and 25 Sangiovese grapes with 50 Grenache grapes The resulting red blend flaunts a medium garnet colour The generous bouquet emanates up front plum perfumes followed by lifted aromas of raspberries and cherries Floral scents dried tarragon hints and an earthy touch complete the fragrant nose which in turn paves the way for a medium bodied palate With a rich backbone of powdery tannins from the Grenache variety and savoury tannins from Sangiovese the lush palate shows a gentle touch of sweetness Fine acidity fuses with all these elements leading to a harmonious finish This rich and intense wine can be served with Fontina cheese herb rubbed sirloin tip roast or venison dishes
