WINERY INFORMATION Founded in 1893 wine brand Kaesler was owned by the Kaesler family till the year 1986 Presently owned by talented winemaker Reid Bosward and his partners the company crafts intense wines using fruit sourced from its ancient vineyards The estate rsquo s Kaesler Home Block and arananga vineyards are situated in the revered Barossa Valley wine region TASTING NOTES The elegant Kaesler Avignon Grenache Mourvedre was obtained by blending 33 Mourvedre grapes with 67 Grenache grapes This wine underwent 15 months of barrel maturation It exhibits a cherry colour with lively hues Lovely aromas of dark fruits combine with pepper and spice hints to form the aromatic nose The full bodied palate offers delicious flavours of blackberries and light red fruits like plums and red currants Enhanced by spicy notes from the fruit the supple palate ends in a mesmerising finish This enticing red blend tastes great with sausages and mash beef dishes and Cheddar cheese
