WINERY INFORMATION Henry rsquo s Drive Vignerons is a reputed wine company established by Kim Longbottom and her husband Mark They started planting grapevines on their property in 1992 and released their first wine six years later The company was named after Henry John Hill who was the proprieor of the mail coach service that ran through their property in the 19th century nbsp TASTING NOTES The Scarlet Letter Sparkling Shiraz was created using the Charmat method Post maturation in French oak for 12 to 36 months the resulting wine shows a vibrant purple hue accompanied by a dark rim A whiff of the wine reveals mesmerising scents of lavender violet and dark cherry The succulent palate offers flavours of blueberry chocolate and toasted spice culminating in a satisfying finish This Sparkling Shiraz from Henry rsquo s Drive Vignerons can be served with lamb cutlets roast duck and Parmesan cheese
