WINERY INFORMATION Earlier known as Ross Estate Hemera Estate is a reputed wine company acquired by Winston Wines in 2012 The property was founded by Pauline and Darius Ross in 1993 They released their first wines six years later under the brand name ndash Ross Estate The estate rsquo s winey was built in 2000 Planted more than a century ago the estate rsquo s original 1912 Grenache block still yields premium fruit parcels TASTING NOTES Hemera Estate GSM was produced by the fusion of 17 Mataro and 32 Shiraz grapes with 51 Grenache grapes These fruit parcels were picked and manually pumped over This process led to the creation of a plum cherry red hued wine showing deep garnet tints The perfumed nose gives off scintillating aromas of ripe red fruits and spiced tea cake coupled with underlying hints of blueberry and blackberry crumble The plush and layered palate contains luscious flavours of red and blue fruits balanced by fine tannins This dynamic red blend ends in an intense and long finish With a cellaring potential of 5 to 10 years this beautiful GSM complement foods like grilled sausage duck risotto and sushi nbsp
