WINERY INFORMATION Launched by Francis Osborn in 1959 the d rsquo Arenberg wine label offers an outstanding range of 60 distinctive wines produced using 25 different grape varieties The winemaking team led by fourth generation winemaker Chester Osborn ensures that wines pass through an extensivebarrel tasting process before bottling the final blend This wine was named after a series of olive trees that thrive in the estate rsquo s Chardonnay vineyards nbsp TASTING NOTES This deep yellow coloured Chardonnay displays bright lime hued flecks in a glass A whiff of the wine offers attractive aromas of Granny Smith apple nectarine spice vanilla and roasted nuts A sip reveals intense creaminess accompanied by strong flavours of white flowers and stone fruits These characters fuse with nutty as well as sea spray nuances ending the wine in a dry and long finale marked by a touch of vanilla This alluring Chardonnay from d rsquo Arenberg Wines can be enjoyed young or be cellared for up to 2 years Drink this enticing white wine with Mediterranean style shrimp and lobster crepes
