WINERY INFORMATION Francis Osborn popularly known as d rsquo Arry started working in vineyards at the tender age of 16 to help his father Frank in managing the family business d rsquo Arry took complete management control of the company in 1957 after the death of his father Two years later he launched his own wine label and named it after the maiden name of his mother Helena d rsquo Arenberg The family owned d rsquo Arenberg winery was built in the year 1927 TASTING NOTES The Custodian Grenache from d rsquo Arenberg Wines displays a bright crimson colour The perfumed nose is dominated by fresh cherry pomegranate and raspberry aromas with light hints of coal dust cracked fennel seed and black earth evident in the backdrop This dazzling Grenache is focused and luscious on the palate brimming with intense flavours of red fruits blackberries and Kalamata olives These vibrant characters are supported by tight rhubarb acidity and structured tannins which eventually pave the way to a long and lingering finish This delightful red wine tastes amazing with beef cheeks cured meats and cheese platters
