WINERY INFORMATION Crossroads rsquo winemaking team works with the objective to craft the finest quality wines which showcase the unique characteristics of the grapes grown in Hawke rsquo s Bay The team carefully selects the best fruit parcels from the estate rsquo s lush vineyards spread througout the region The wine brand offers 3 exquisite wine ranges ndash the Talisman Winemakers Collection and Milestone series TASTING NOTES The grapes for this crisp Milestone Sauvignon Blanc were machine harvested from Kereru Vineyard situated on the banks of Ngaruroro River in the Mangatahi district The fruit was then pressed and individual batches separately fermented in stainless steel tanks This resulted in the production of a deep green hued wine showing pale straw tinges A whiff of the wine reveals mesmerising aromas of passionfruit grapefruit lime and lemon These fragrances are replicated on the juicy and textured palate where they combine with nuances of slight lees and smoke All the elements culminate in a lingering finish accompanied by fresh fruit flavours This delightful Sauv Blanc tastes splendid as an ap eacute ritif It can also be served with asparagus chilled melon lamb oysters or fish and chips nbsp
