WINERY INFORMATION Started in 1987 Crossroads is a reputed winery located on Korokipo Road in Fernhill Hawke rsquo s Bay Skilled winemaker Miles Dinneen has been leading the winemaking team since 2004 He has since helped create an award winning range of wines Vineyard Manager Bryon Strachan maages and oversees all functions of the vineyards owned by the company He ensures that the fruit parcels used for producing these elegant wines are of the finest quality TASTING NOTES The fruit used to produce this food friendly Milestone Pinot Gris was harvested pressed and then settled A portion of the juice was fermented in oak barriques with the remaining 92 of the juice stored in stainless steel tanks This wonderful drink from Crossroads Winery displays a pale straw hue with golden tinges lurking throughout The attractive bouquet exudes nectarine and Nashi pear aromas which intermix with fresh pastry flavours on the lush and fruity palate These magnificent characters seamlessly lead to a dry yet lively finale This delicious white wine can be relished on its own It can also be served alongside summer salads chicken pork or pheasant nbsp
