This is a magical Mornington chardy from a winemaking sorcerer. It’s got ballerina-like poise and sublime balance. It’s medium bodied, wit a nice fresh acidity that gives drive and direction. There’s a good bit of fruit, of peaches, apples and nectarines, that sits nicely along a flinty streak and a slight smokiness. The finish is nutty, with a nicely fleshy back palate that keeps you intrigued right to the very end. Great wine, and it’ll only get better over the next few years. Grab a case for now and a case for the future.
