While Tassie chardonnay is of course a big deal, in reality there is very little made. So when we land some good stuff, we get very excited. And this isn’t just good stuff, it’s a single block reserve chardy from one of our absolute favourite Coal River Valley producers. Super elegant and very cncentrated (as you’d expect) with notes of peach, apple and nectarine. It’s a little creamy but the real textural impact lies in the minerality reminiscent of wet stones. Even after four years of age, it feels like a youngun with plenty of golden years ahead.
