This is truly something special. Just the second release from an extremely talented Margaret River up-and-comer who grew up amongst the vines in a renowned WA wine family. The fruit is sourced from one of the best vineyards in the Wilyabrup sub-region, making for a top quality chardonnay that foreshdows the greatness ahead for this winemaker. It’s flinty and fruity, minerally and bright, luscious and tense all at the same time. Pineapple and grapefruit citrus abound, there’s a creamy undertone where the oak is present but not intrusive. In a few years, you can claim to be one of the few who tasted an early vintage of a wine that is going to sit amongst Margaret River’s most revered chardonnays.
