This is VERY good chardonnay from Eden Valley, crafted by an incredibly reliable producer who makes the greatest hits from across SA regions. So, Eden Valley you say? Yep - the altitude and cold nights that make great riesling, also make a long growing season for perfectly ripe charddy with great acd drive. It’s full of melon and peach, a hint of nuttiness and fresh acidity, giving drive and delightful length on the palate. The clean and crisp attack is balanced a touch of time in French oak for some lovely textural notes.
