Maybe we’re throwing a bit of a curve ball with a Coonawarra cab franc, but then again maybe it’s just right. Those knowledgeable in all things cabernet will know that cab franc is one of the major grapes blended with cab sav to make the great reds of Bordeaux. Then, factor in that our experiencd producer is one of the icons of Coonawarra and it doesn’t seem such a stretch after all. And the wine? Vibrant and juicy, spicy and floral. It’s ready to go now but still has some fine tannins to allow for a few years of ageing. We’re loving this wine and are confident you’ll be delighted with it as well.
