WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard CRFT rsquo s exquisite Shiraz was crafted at Little Hill Vineyard situated in Seppeltsfield Barossa Valley It is owned operated and managed by John and Al Shobbrook The estate consists of nutrient rich red and brown clay soils covering limestone elements Winemakin Grapes for this lovely drink were carefully selected handpicked and de-stemmed followed by fermenting them in an open-top tank and hand plunging them thrice a day The fruit was then pressed directly to oak barrel fermenting it for three weeks Finally the juice was matured in 60 French and 40 American oak barriques 20 of which was new oak for a period of 10 months TASTING NOTES The richness and regional flavours of Barossa Valley are reflected in this delicious and enchanting Shiraz Showing a deep red-violet colour this wine is complex and intense with flavours of chocolate and spice dominating the palate Going through the layers of this wine you will uncover hidden flavours of prunes and dried figs with savoury notes of star anise spice and smooth walnut tannins It is an enjoyable and flavoursome wine both upon release as well as after cellaring it for about a decade and a half Matching this outstanding Shiraz with beef pork and spicy dishes brings out hidden flavours in this wine
