And it’s a mark of a truly great year when the winemaker decides not to blend it in a non-vintage style. There’s only a handful of years that this producer has made this wine, and this is one of the oldest we’ve seen. This spends a huge 6.5 years en tirage for super fine bubbles and exceptional depth of toasty notes. Golden apple, ripe stone fruits, honey, almonds and brioche seamlessly find themselves intertwined on the palate, with a delightful lemon curd acidity. Call home, this is a sparkling they need to know about!
