Benromach 10 YO Single Malt Whisky

Golden hues with a almost polished brass tone. The nose is savoury and malt-driven, with rich, sherry notes - baked fruits, chocolate and delicate spice - and subtle waft of day-old campfire. There's ripe apples and touch of walnut, with a good whack of vanilla barrel too, but not out of balance. Onthe palate, the whisky feels plump and viscous. Flavours of berry and bramble, with honeyed tones and ripe stone fruits flow to a malty barley mid, where a tickle of smoke starts to emerge. The momentum builds through to the finish, where a surprising burst of tropical fruit comes into play, leading to a rounded and smoky exit.
