A well-aged treat from the Benromach Distillery. Benromach famously boasts a subtly smoky spirit, quite unusual for a Speysider. However, back in the day, it was common practice to top up fires with cuts of peat when the coal ran low. Aged entirely in a selection of first-fill Sherry and ex-Bourboncasks for a minimum of 21 years, this dram displays gentle spice and fruit notes over the top of the smouldering notes of old Speyside.
